From Puppet Shows to Painted Shores

Judy grew up in an artsy family, where creations in paper mâché and paint were used in puppet shows and parades. Raising a family and building a career in marketing left little time for creativity, but with an empty nest, Judy returned to her roots, studying painting at RISD.  There she learned to ‘see’ more critically, how to translate the 3-D world to a 2-D canvas and how many different shades of green exist!

Judy’s paintings reflect the beauty that surrounds us, the ever-changing light on our rivers, oceans and salt marshes, and her deep love of Mother Nature. An award-winning artist, Judy has completed highly-prized commissions for collectors as well as coastal paintings, some of which you see here.
